The light it casts is so warm and even that the whole room feels different at night, even on the lowest dim setting. Arik Levy’s design somehow makes the cut crystal look both modern and timeless from every angle.

The cut crystal really does feel like a piece of heritage art, yet the slim silhouette hangs so modern in my hallway. Every evening the faceted shade throws these soft, almost prism-like patterns across the wall that I keep stopping to look at.

The way it catches and scatters light at dusk is unreal — the crystal seems to float against the ceiling rather than hang. Installation took a bit of patience, but once it was up, the room instantly felt more like a gallery than a living space.
